If you would like to bring in a young child and they are familiar with how cats behave - they are welcome to come into the cat lounge with parent supervision.

*Please note that Cat Lounge is located on second floor and there is no wheelchair accessibility.*

The lounge visit fee is $24 per person. It includes hot or cold refreshments and a freshly baked cookie.

Waiver

Please read below carefully; you are agreeing to certain restrictions.

• I acknowledge that Catty Corner Café staff will not monitor or assist with my interaction with the cats, but instead will remain available to generally monitor the activities and the activities of other participants. Staff will be available to generally assist or encourage interaction. Catty Corner Café makes no guarantees about any level of monitoring or control of the cats. I acknowledge that I will comply with all instructions and rules, and that failure to do so will result in prohibition from further participation. I further acknowledge that I will not be given a refund for my admission if I violate the instructions and/or rules.

• consideration for my participation and/or the participation of the minors in my care in the activities at Catty Corner Café, I hereby waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Catty Corner Café, Last Chance Animal Rescue and/ or their owners, affiliates, employees, agents, or other involved vendors (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) from and against any claim or cause of action, arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, that I may sustain while participating in the activities at Catty Corner Café, resulting from any cause, including, but not limited to, any inherent risk as exists with animal interactions. I assume and accept all risk for my participation in these activities, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, and property damage.

• I authorize Releasees to administer first aid for injuries I may incur while participating in an activity. I further authorize Releasees to arrange for my ambulance transportation to a hospital at my or a parent’s/guardian’s expense in the event of your incapacitation as a result of injury, at my own expense. Releasees make no guarantee or promise to administer first aid.

• I agree that this Liability Waiver is intended to be as broad and as inclusive as permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and that if any provision in this Liability Waiver is held invalid, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Should I or anyone acting on my behalf choose to challenge the provisions of this Liability Waiver, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees for any and al.

• I am over the age of eighteen (18) and of sound mind and body, and acknowledge that I have read and understood the above waiver and, having determined to proceed of my own volition without coercion or intimidation, intend to be bound by the terms thereof.
